Located in the Red Hawk Casino on the smoke free lower level next to Henry's Steak House (our special occasion place), we tried having breakfast here one late afternoon in early September. One nice thing is that breakfast is served during all hours. We ordered a Pancake Breakfast ($9.99) and a House Breakfast ($9.99). Koto Grille in Placerville offers an edgier take on the traditional Mexican menu. Have a few picky young eaters in the family? Not a problem at this restaurant, where the food and ambience are perfect for family dining.Parking can be a pain in the neck, but it's as available as ever near the restaurant.Koto Grille is a mid-priced establishment, with the average meal costing under $30. Koto Grille was a very pleasant experience. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and came with mashed potatoes and veggies. Mexican entrees also available . All meals begin with chips and salsa. Salsa bar offers all heats. Good value in that most entrees were under the $20 range. A nice meal with good ambiance. The wait staff was very attentive. Voted Best Casino 8 years in a row!
